Golden Scientific Ages in Islam

Three school children visit a dusty library to research the story of ‘The Dark Ages’. What they find changes their world view dramatically as ingenious inventors and pioneers of science and culture are vividly brought to life.

I always be sad when people speak about this period in a bad way! I know it was ‘The Dark Ages’ but in the northern part of the world only “Europe” not in the the southern part “Arab Region”. I found this video helpful to convince the world that Muslims were the world leaders in science and technology, but changing is the only constant.

Discover The Muslim Heritage In Our World -  1001 Inventions  is a global educational initiative that promotes awareness of the scientific and cultural achievements of Muslim civilisation, during the thousand year period from the 7th century onwards, and how those contributions helped build the foundations of our modern world.
